Slowmotion Livestream is not any new technology for slow motion music playback, but a project by guitarist and producer Matevž Kovačič from Slovenian Notranjska region.
We first met him in the series "Be10n", where he presented himself with the composition "Down Time Rave" and immediately attracted the interest of many listeners. Matevž is almost a non-existent person by today's standards, as he has no social media, no website of his own, and you practically can't find him. Before we met him under the name Slowmotion Livestream, he was in the band Apory Museum.
Matevž became acquainted with music at a young age and draws inspiration from ambient, electronic, rock and other genres, which is also very evident in the upcoming releases, as the epic "From Beak To Bone" is just the beginning of a trilogy and represents a more electronic, beat music experience. In production, we find alternating digital electronic and organic guitar aesthetics, which incorporates many micro-genres of the electronic scene. “Insiders” say it’s a mix of music by Clark, Amon Tobin and Radiohead, and the fact is that Slowmotion Livestream has created his own sound image that is quite unique, at least in Slovenia.
Jaka Teršek took care of the artwork, and Gregor Bajc came to the rescue with his miraculous fingers to help with mixing and mastering.
