Slowmotion Livestream introduced himself to the public last year with a series of three EPs that fused beats and ambient music. The then almost completely anonymous artist has reached a number of listeners with his three Beton records releases, as he expanded his audience far beyond European borders while also leaving a mark on the domestic music scene.

As part of his exploratory journey through various genres, the current release »Strange Repeats« confronts four-to-the-floor and ambient house, which was created from his own perspective. Following in the footsteps of Four Tet, Bicep, Floating Points, and their contemporaries, he tackled house music with a more ambiental, subtle, and strongly personal approach. The sounds of »Strange Repeats« could also be compared to Bonobo or Bibio, but it is definitely a project that goes far beyond the usual domestic house landscape and adds much-needed breadth to it.

The masterfully polished project is available on all streaming platforms and will be your dance-listening project for the summer.

Slowmotion Livestream se je lani predstavil s svojo beatovsko/ambientalno fuzijo, ki jo je na treh ep izidih predstavil javnosti. Dotlej skoraj popolni anonimnež je v treh Beton izdajah posegel do zavidljivih poslušalnih razsežnosti, saj je poslušalstvo razširil globoko izven evropskih meja, hkrati pa je dodobra zasukal tudi domačo sceno.

Na svoji raziskovalni poti po raznovrstni godbi pa se je posebej za pričujočo izdajo »Strange Repeats« soočil z bolj klasičnimi štiričetrtinskimi in ambientalnimi house fantazijskimi popotovanji nastalimi iz njemu lastne perspektive. Po sledovih Four Teta, dvojca Bicep, Floating Pointsa in njihovih sorodnikov se je housa lotil z bolj ambientalne, tenkočutne in močno osebne plati. Verjetno bi kdo lahko v zvokih »Strange Repeats« prepoznal tudi kak Bonobo ali Bibio moment, vsekakor pa gre za projekt, ki močno presega siceršnjo domačo house krajino in ji dodaja prepotrebno širino.

Žmohtno izpiljen projekt je od danes dosegljiv na vseh streaming platformah in bo vaš plesno-poslušalni projekt za spremljajoče poletje.
